Animal House
Animal House
IPS has a centralized animal house with an air-conditioned facility, located in a separate building with dedicated rooms for animal housing and experimental work.
The facility supports student research by providing suitable animals and dedicated spaces for conducting experimental studies, animal trials, and metabolic research.
About the Animal House
The Animal House maintains a number of different strains of mice and rats, as well as rabbits, according to the requirements of student research projects. Students can access the facility for testing, animal trials, and metabolic studies related to their research projects.
The facility has also been enhanced with a dedicated surgical room equipped for live animal experiments, including an anesthesia machine to support controlled experimental procedures.
